COMPANY OVERVIEW

Carbonix is Australia’s most experienced privately held sovereign UAS OEM, capable of taking a mission concept through the full design and manufacturing process, including flight test development and customer delivery and sustainment.

These aircraft are optimised for ISR applications. They solve the problem of situational awareness by offering a steady, persistent, sharp ‘eye in the sky’. Carbonix comprises engineering and operations know-how as well as training and regulatory experts.

Strong internal R&D capacity and collaborative history with research institutions. Proven track record in commercial missions (long-range infrastructure mapping and monitoring), as well as international military (USA and Spain).

PRODUCTS

  • Carbonix offers two production UAS solutions with customisation options:
  • – Volanti : a 15Kg electric VTOL ‘quadplane’ capable of carrying 1Kg for 2.5 hours

    – Ottano: a 60Kg petrol hybrid quadplane capable of carrying 5Kg for 10 hours

  • Carbonix can supply and sustain existing proven systems with over 10,000 cumulative hours of flight, BVLOS capability, CASA-accredited training syllabus, and BARS-audited procedures
  • These systems are in rate production in Australia. They come with proven payloads for LiDaR, photogrammetry, multispectral, ISR
  • Carbonix can also customise to specific mission requirements via internal advanced UAS/RPAS design and integration expertise

  • They include proven sophisticated ISR and surveying payloads.
  • Carbonix provides a superior flying platform and quickly adds sophistication by engaging specialist suppliers to integrate their capabilities into their robust flexible architecture.
  • Carbonix partners with operators in different countries, including the USA. These operators are trained to fly, maintain, and repair our systems, as well as onboard new customers.
  • Carbonix has a diversified supply-chain that guarantees availability, at scale, of all key components - most being manufactured in-house.
